Apologetics

 

 

Introduction to Apologetics : (no minimum, 12 maximum)


This course will give students an introduction into general apologetics emphasizing arguments for the existence of God, intelligent design and the concept of materialism. Students in this course will learn how to discuss and defend scripture and issues relating to: Creation, Flood narrative, Jesus’ life, death and resurrection and how we can trust that scripture is reliable today. Students will also be given a chance to tackle issues such as evolution, science and Christianity, and other apologetic topics.

 

This course is taught by Matt Price.  Cost for this course is $350 per year with a $25 supply fee.

Intermediate Apologetics: (no minimum, 12 maximum)


This course focuses on teaching students an in-depth study of how to have a logical and Christ focused conversation with those of other religions and beliefs than their own. Students will learn about several other world religions and beliefs and be given the tools to properly have a conversation in defense of their Christian faith compared to these faiths. These subjects will include: Mormonism, Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Relativist, Judaism, and cult religions. Students will also participate in mock conversations with those who think differently and learn the skills and tools necessary to win souls and not just an argument.
