Jessica Wilbourne

As someone who has found true joy in learning and a passion for sharing that joy with others, I simply cannot wait for this school year to start. I was homeschooled from elementary school through high school and went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Covenant College, minoring in psychology. Since I both majored and minored in the social sciences and will be teaching US history, psychology, and public speaking this year, I think it’s safe to say I enjoy learning about the science of “people” as a general topic. Thank you, sincerely, for the opportunity to share with your children the joy of learning and the reward to be found in chasing after knowledge in both creation and its Creator. What we’ve done in America’s past, why we seem to keep doing those things, and how to share our newfound knowledge with others perfectly showcases the three classes I’m teaching this year and why I believe they’re important in the broader scope of our lives.

On a more personal note, when I'm not teaching or wearing the many hats of a small business owner, I love to spend time with my family and loved ones or have quiet time with God. I treasure my husband, Nicholas, and our two fur-babies, I love to philosophize, and am quite an avid pun enthusiast.
